Slim PS3 already?

Okay, this doesn't really come as a surprise to anyone, but is still really exciting news. Even if it's only a rumor, the rumor of a new, slimmer version of the PS3 has actually made my mouth water in anticipation. I mean, I was so gonna buy a PS3 just to play MGS4, and was even expecting a bundle to come to Europe (as it's still unconfirmed on this territory), but a slimmer PS3 would delete any doubts whatsoever. And that could only hurt my wallet, I know it too well. I honestly hope this is more than a rumor, for this would give an ultimate reason to buy a PS3. Time will tell...

And interesting trailer has hit the internet. Midway announced the game, under the creative team of MK fame Ed Boon, but what has been buggering gamers is that, it was said, the game won't contain fatalities. So wanna see Liu Kang rip Batman's head off with an uppercut? Well, forget it, as naturally DC comics won't have their characters being slaughtered nor dismembered. So, lacking that, will the spirit of the game be the same? I don't care; the crossover is too cool to miss.
